Current Campgains

1. Horgen

Littering places a financial and staffing burden on municipalities. Cigarette butts cause the greatest damage, both in terms of cleaning effort and environmental impact. By distributing free pocket ashtrays, the municipality aims to improve cleanliness in Horgen.

The retail sector is lending a hand.

The municipality of Horgen launched the “Ich bin clean” (“I am clean”) campaign in 2026. For the first time, smokers can obtain free swisstrays (pocket ashtrays) from participating retailers. The following retailers are taking part: Denner, Coop, Lidl, and Spar. This is a groundbreaking, new approach.

The target group receives a concrete solution for behaving in an environmentally friendly way anywhere. This is the most effective and cost-efficient way to sustainably reduce cigarette littering.

A simple solution for on the go

When out and about, there’s often no proper way to dispose of a cigarette butt. With a pocket ashtray, it can be temporarily stored and emptied at the next waste bin. The “swisstray” pocket ashtray is made from recycled material and is easy to rinse out.

From April 1, 2026, this pocket ashtray, featuring the “Ich bin clean” logo, will be distributed free of charge at the municipal office as well as at Coop, Denner, and Lidl retail locations.

Campaign Material: Dispenser Box

As part of the campaign concept, it is proposed that product distribution be supported using campaign elements. This is where the Dispenser Box comes in, allowing users to see the product fully while also being able to take it directly.

This element can be customized with an individually designed display to suit the customer’s requirements and needs.

The dispenser box is available in two variants:

– For 6 taketrays

– For 10 taketrays

2. Regensdorf

Regensdorf relies on pocket ashtrays to combat cigarette littering

With the #rägi.bliibtsuuber campaign, the municipality of Regensdorf is implementing further concrete measures for greater cleanliness in public spaces.
